I'm Neil, I'm a PHP developer and IT Technician currently living in Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire. I have an IT System Support qualification and I am currently working towards my CompTia A+ and my Zend PHP certification. I've worked for several major websites including MyMovies.net and GiroPets.

I have been developing PHP applications since 2000, with my most notable work being for GiroPets. GiroPets was a ground-breaking online Virtual Pet, browser based webgame aimed at the children / teen market. GiroPets pioneered many ideas and features that have been widely adopted by similarly themed webgames.

MyMovies.net is the UK's leading Movie related web portal, who offers turnkey content distribution. MyMovies.net's content is distributed through companies such as VirginMedia, Eircom, MSN, Lycos and Yahoo. As well as content being packaged and served to customers of some of the UK's leading Mobile Phone Networks; Hutchinson 3G (UK), orange and o2. Content is also utilised by Microsoft, HMV and various other companies.

Although I mainly advertise myself as a PHP Developer I have many professional skills which I hope to share with you via the pages of my website. I have a very keen interest in Technology and like to explore new avenues wherever they appear.

Aside from software development I have a keen interest in Technology, Photography, Bar Flair, Deejaying, Cycling and Ten Pin Bowling. I also have a comprehensive background in Media, having worked at several radio stations such as Medway FM (now KM FM) and Meridian Hospital Radio.
