The King's Head is a traditional pub, presented with a contemporary take.
The Kings offers a warm, friendly welcome and is one of the local nightlife hotspots, boasting some of the best events in town. Located at the heart of Falmouth in Cornwall, The Kings attracts a broad customer base from the local community and tourist trade.
While working as a Bar Tender at The Kings I noticed a gap in shot sales. Approaching the manager about the concern we agreed I could look for ways to raise sales. Consulting and working with the entire bar team, I designed a Shots Menu.
To compliment the current Food Menu's daytime / summery feel; I decided that the Shots Menu required a dark / urban night-time feel. This was achieved using stencil fonts, Blue tones and a vector brush set which consisted of graffiti paint splatters and various other elements.

Since the introduction of the Shots Menu in May 2009 Sales of shots have been steadily doubling.
